Upon the mare’s arrival, we conduct an initial examination to assess the health of both the mare and the fetus.

We perform an ultrasound to visualize the fetus, allowing us to check its position and vitality through the heartbeat. We also examine the placenta to prevent any potential placental issues.

With modern technologies, we can closely monitor the mare’s preparation for birth, ensuring we provide the best possible assistance to the newborn foal.
