Breeding and raising

Specializing in breeding and reproduction of horses, mares, foals and stallions, we offer services for hypofertility, semen production and broodmare fertilization.

Orphan foal and nannies

We take care of orphaned foals who have lost their broodmare mother after foaling.

We manage their feeding around the clock and place them with a wet nurse, a mare who will accept him and raise him like the other foals and together with the other foals. We give them the necessary attention to prevent neonatal diseases and possible immune problems.

The wet nurse follows the foal’s development due to the training – specialized veterinary treatment – received at our center.

The foal is thus able to grow strong and healthy.

Assistance at birth

We visit the mare upon arrival to check the health of the mother and fetus.
We visualize the fetus with ultrasound and are thus able to determine its position and viability through heartbeat.

We also perform examination of the placenta to prevent any pathology.

Thanks to technology, we can closely monitor the mother’s preparation for delivery and perfect care for the new arrival.

Our goal is to be invisible but always present at the right time.

Mare fertilization

Our center has expertise and equipment for fertilization with refrigerated or frozen semen.

We monitor the broodmare carefully through ultrasound and keep ovulation under control by examining the ovaries day and night.
We consider the welfare of the broodmare and her foal very important. Therefore we always take the foal to visit with the mother and carefully prepare her for fertilization, applying the best hygiene standards.

Through deep fertilization we optimize the pregnancy rate with frozen semen.

Embryo transfer

We offer Embryo Transfer services with the presence of on-site receptions.

The broodmare engaged in competitive breeding or with reproductive problems can complete gestation through the use of a surrogate womb. The recipient breeds her foal for all intents and purposes with affection without attributing any character to it.

We perform the procedure quickly, noninvasively and absolutely painlessly, about 7-9 days after fertilization. The donor mare is not affected in any way by the uterine lavage, which takes 10-20 minutes. The uterine lavage fluid is then filtered to search for the embryo.
